NDT is short for non-destructive testing. It is a testing process that can be used to find and identify welding defects and discontinuities, such as cracks, without the part being damaged. These are defects that are difficult or impossible to see with the naked eye prior to NDT.

We offer 2 types of NDT which are carried out on our main site in specialised clean rooms. If requested, we can also carry out NDT on site.

  • Liquid penetrant testing (PT) Is the process of using a fluid with low viscosity.
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) This process uses magnetic fields to identify flaws near or on the surface of ferromagnetic materials.

Our In-house, Qualified NDT Inspectors Cover

  • Magnetic Particle Inspection
